Where to Buy Kefir and Kombucha on the Go

Have you heard about kefir and kombucha but don’t have the time or desire to make it yourself?  Fortunately there are a few places you can pick up a bottle or order online and have it delivered to your door.

Kombucha is a natural probiotic fermented drink made of black, green or herbal tea, sugar and a culture of bacteria and yeast.  You can purchase unpasteurized or pasteurized drinks at several locations throughout Hong Kong.

Kefir is a fermented drink made with water, coconut water, almond milk or a variety of other milks, sugar and grains.  The grains consume the sugar creating a natural probiotic drink.  For both drinks, after the initial fermentation, fruits and herbs can be added to enhance the flavour.
