Here’s what’s coming up at Taste!
Taste of Hong Kong presented by HSBC at the Central Harbourfront from 21-24 March is our favourite foodie event. Try unique dishes presented by some of Hong Kong’s most highly rated restaurants and food and drink brands. There will be lots of other entertainment, including a sound stage and a fun Kids Zone. A unique view of these Hong Kong chefs
These quirky chef portraits not only whet our appetites for the culinary treats in store but also playfully showcase HK’s local culture and attractions. Taste has collaborated with renowned Hong Kong photographer @surrealhk (also known as Tommy Fung) to create these fun images.
The current line-up sees chefs – including Andrée LeFuel (Artemis & Apollo), Christopher Mark (Chôm Chôm), Jim Löfdahl (The Flying Elk), Asher Goldstein (Francis), Agustin Balbi (HAKU), Wong Gwan Man (Old Bailey), Chau Sai To (John Anthony), Leung Fai Hung (Hoi King Heen), Andrea Viglione (Pici), Max Levy (Sausage Commitment) and Oscar Luzon (Zuma) presented in a unique style – one for their family albums for sure!

Meanwhile, if a sweet tooth is your weakness, then Taste of Hong Kong presented by HSBC is your new best friend. The Taste team have crafted a sweet list of artisanal exhibitors catering to those sugar cravings.
Cookie DPT’s gorgeous freshly baked cookies with a perfectly crispy outside and chewy inside will be a must-try. And who doesn’t love a freshly baked pastry? RISE bake traditional French artisan breads and fine pastries, allowing the dough to develop naturally and ‘RISE’ with much more flavour and texture.
The desserts at Sweet Fashion House are a treat for the eyes as well as the taste-buds. The beautifully presented, handcrafted chocolates, cakes and macarons presented by this designer dessert boutique are sure to delight.
You will also find Sabatino Tartufi at Taste, this family business was founded in 1911 in Umbria Italy, and they will be showcasing their unique and delicious truffle honey. And last but not least, all of us ice cream lovers are going to adore Baekmidang’s indulgent organic milk ice cream.
