Catch Some Rio Carnivale Vibes at Happy Wednesdays this Summer
Inspired by Brazil’s Rio Carnivale, Happy Wednesday’s Carnivale of Action is being held at Happy Valley this summer (6, 13, 27 June and 4 July). Combining the excitement of horse racing with fiesta-style performances, the party gives all racegoers a taste of Rio de Janeiro by igniting the racecourse with an amazing party vibe!

To kick off the festivities, Alt-rock band Esimorp will open on June 6, followed by resident band Carnivale, performing with gorgeous Samba dancers. There’ll be a number of special games, giveaways and refreshment offers to make this a party we are certainly looking forward to!
Exciting Games and Giveaways
Throughout the festival there will be fun games with prizes trackside, including a photo-taking zone filled with sporty summer gears.
Other special giveaways will be on for those who purchase certain drinks. During the Carnivale, buy two San Miguel beers and automatically be entered into games with fabulous prizes
Alternatively, in a game called ‘Aim and Win,’ buy two pints of Heineken and be entered to compete in a game that is pretty much beer pong, just minus the mandatory drinking, to win cool prizes.

Beer Garden will get racegoers into the Carnivale mode with its signature & Brazilian-themed dishes. The dishes will include American Corn Dogs, Tacos with Chili Bean, Deep Fried Jalapeños stuffed with Cheddar Cheese and Ranch Dressing, Tortilla Wrap with Cumin Lamb Salad and many other treats.
