Many of us have faced the dilemma of not knowing what to order when we are out with friends who are drinking and for whatever reason we aren’t. Well, non-drinkers will soon have a new option in Hong Kong with the launch of Seedlip, the world’s first distilled, non-alchoholic spirit.
Seedlip was launched with great success in 2015 and immediately sold out in London’s Selfridges. The spirits are now served in more than 15 cities around the world as well as 100 Michelin starred restaurants and some of the world’s most iconic cocktail bars.
The beverage was founded by Ben Branson and was inspired by his family’s 300-year farming heritage as well as his career working on drinks brands. It is produced and bottled in England using a copper pot distillation and filtration process that takes approximately six weeks. It comes in two varieties, Seedlip Garden 108 and Seedlip Spice 94 which are each zero calories, sugar, sweetener and artificial flavor-free which means a Seedlip and Tonic is a great adult beverage choice when you want to feel a part of the party but aren’t drinking.
Have we convinced you to give it a try? Seedlip will make its appearance in Hong Kong this March. Once launched, you will be able to find Seedlip at several locations around Hong Kong including HK Liquor Store, Potato Head Hong Kong, The Pawn, JOYVINO Limited, Kwoon by The Woods, The Bottle Shop and others.
Attendees to Taste of Hong Kong will be introduced to the brand’s complex drink mixes which will be found throughout the festival. Founder of the brand, Ben Branson, will be present for the four-day event and the Seedlip team will be making cocktails and leading workshops throughout.
