World-renowned composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has created 14 new songs for the show, including You’re In The Band and Stick It To The Man. This stage adaptation also features all the original songs from the film.

The musical also has lyrics by Glenn Slater who has worked on stage versions of Sister Act and The Little Mermaid, as well as a book by Julian Fellowes of Downton Abbey fame. Since opening on Broadway in 2015, the School of Rock stage adaptation has earned four Tony nominations and won the 2017 Olivier for Outstanding Achievement in Music and the 2017 WhatsonStage Award for Best New Musical.
