Dishes from John Anthony, Pici, The Flying Elk & Chom Chom

Without doubt the main reason we head to Taste is to try the diverse range of dishes on offer from HK’s best restaurants. You can check Taste’s website here for a full line up of the dishes, so that you arrive fully prepped. Every restaurant will serve up four delicious creations, including one dish exclusively created for Taste. Pictured here (clockwise from top left) are Lobster Har Gow (Taste Exclusive) $90 from John Anthony; Orecchiette $90, from Pici; Tunnbrödsrulle (Taste Exclusive) $125, from The Flying Elk; and Pho Beef Roll $78, from Chôm Chôm.

Stroll around the gourmet market to sip, sample and shop from a carefully curated range of premium artisan producers, then head to Foodie’s ‘Food’s Future’ tent to explore the latest alternative protein – crickets! Check out the eye-popping ‘donut wall’ created by Invisible Kitchen, all these sweet treats will be made with cricket flour.

Then stop by the Wolf Theatre to get up close and personal with famed international and local chefs as they show off their cooking techniques.

Johnnie Walker at Taste

Sponsors Stella Artois will be showcasing their signature 4-step pouring ritual. Meanwhile whisky lovers will enjoy the Johnnie Walker Black Label Highball bar, and if gin is your thing then head to the chic ‘Ultimate Gin Bar’ to embrace the taste of Tanqueray No TEN.
