Hong Kong will host a large-scale anime concert this January as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba In Concert arrives on 27 and 28 January 2026 at Live at the Big Top, the main tent of the AIA Carnival, which runs at the waterfront site until 1 March.
The event combines live orchestral performance with projected scenes from the anime, creating a cinema-style experience supported by live music. An 18-piece band performs the original soundtrack from the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, synchronised with key moments from the series shown on a large screen.
Rather than a traditional recital, the format guides audiences through the story using music, visuals, and atmosphere, making it accessible even to viewers who may not usually attend orchestral concerts.
Before coming to Hong Kong, the concert has toured several cities in the region, especially in Singapore and Manila, where the combination of live orchestra and on-screen animation drew both anime fans and general concert audiences. The Hong Kong performances should follow the same format, marking the first local staging of the concert series.
Each show starts at 8:00 pm and runs for around two hours, including an intermission. The venue opens 30 minutes before showtime. Seating is unnumbered, with free seating within the ticketed section purchased. Ticket prices range from HK$880 to HK$1,280, depending on seating category.
The event is family-friendly, with a minimum age of three. Children under 12 must attend with an adult, and flash photography is not permitted during the performance.
