Henderson Land has announced the launch of Central Yards, an ambitious mixed-use development that will transform the New Central Harbourfront, situated between IFC and the Star Ferry, into a vibrant hub for commerce, culture, and lifestyle.

Spanning 1.6 million square feet, Central Yards will feature premium office spaces, the city’s first private Broadway-calibre theatre, and Central’s largest sky garden, designed to foster urban biodiversity and provide a green escape in the heart of the city.

Central Yards set to open in 2027, is designed to blend business, sustainability, and culture. Its first phase will offer a unique mix of hybrid retail spaces, cultural attractions, and innovative, eco-friendly architecture.

The buildings will feature cutting-edge technologies for energy efficiency and sustainability, including smart building systems and eco-friendly materials. Visitors will experience a vibrant public realm, with 12 outdoor event spaces, cultural markets, and seasonal pop-up kiosks. These spaces will host various events, markets, and festivals, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the year.

With over 70% of office space already leased, Central Yards is poised to become a key financial and cultural hub for Hong Kong. The development is set to attract multinational companies, financial institutions, and creative industries, becoming a new focal point in the city’s business district.

Once completed, Central Yards will offer a people-centric space where work, culture, and nature seamlessly intersect. The project will help reshape the Hong Kong skyline, offering a dynamic mix of modern business, green spaces, and vibrant cultural experiences for residents, workers, and visitors alike.
