@Cosme will open its first overseas flagship on 5 December in Tsim Sha Tsui. This marks a major step for the Japanese beauty retailer, which already operates smaller @cosme STORE locations in Mong Kok and Causeway Bay.
The new store will occupy three floors and cover 1,298 square metres inside the Yue Hwa International Building at Kowloon Park Drive and Ashley Road. It will serve as the company’s main base for international expansion across East Asia. According to the announcement, the brand sees Hong Kong as a strategic entry point thanks to its role as a global financial hub with strong links to visitors from mainland China and other Asian markets.
Visitors will be able to explore The Best Cosmetics Building, a central feature inspired by the city’s skyline. It will display award winning products across five tall walls. Trend zones for Asia, Tokyo and Seoul will introduce popular items from across the region. A dedicated fragrance corner will allow visitors to test perfumes and take a scent profile analysis.
The flagship will also bring several structured areas familiar to shoppers in Japan. These include a display of top selling items, a full sheet mask wall, a mini cosmetics area, a Next Trend zone for emerging brands and an Inner Beauty section. Tester Bars and two pop up spaces will support events throughout the year.
The store will open daily from 10am to 10pm.
