A new massive light festival has arrived in Hong Kong with the debut of Festilumi, an immersive nighttime experience that transforms the Wan Chai Harbourfront into a glowing outdoor attraction, with 20,000 unique luminous sculptures.
Known for its grand illuminated installations and walk-through displays, Festilumi has previously toured cities including Canada and Singapore, drawing more than 3 million visitors worldwide. The event blends visual art and lighting design on a city scale. Now making its Hong Kong debut, Festilumi runs until 26 April 2026.

Explore the 9 Festilumi Zones
Festilumi is organised into 9 distinct zones, each with its own visual identity and lighting style. Based on the official displays shown, visitors can expect the following areas:
- The Festilumi Tree of Lights – A towering central installation designed as a landmark and main photo spot.
- The Infinite Poles – A zone featuring tall illuminated poles arranged in repeating patterns.
- The Jurassic Kingdom – Light sculptures inspired by prehistoric creatures and dinosaur shapes.
- The Enchanted Maples – Glowing maple leaf displays forming a lit canopy walkway.
- The Wall of Lights – A corridor-style installation made up of layered illuminated panels.
- The Dune Palace – Warm-toned lights and structures inspired by desert forms and arches.
- The Colourful Animal Kingdom – Animal-shaped light sculptures arranged across an open area.
- The Tunnel of Colours – A walk-through tunnel filled with shifting coloured lights.
