WestK FunFest 2026 is set to begin on 19 March, bringing a mix of family-friendly arts events to the West Kowloon Cultural District. Running until 12 April, the festival will feature international and local acts, along with free outdoor experiences for both children and adults.
At Art Park, a family of giant sleeping cats will be displayed on the lawn as a calm, photo-friendly highlight. The installation is designed as an immersive encounter, inviting visitors to slow down and take a closer look. Across the outdoor areas, visitors can also expect pop-up moments and playful activities aimed at kids and families.
WestK FunFest is built around a participatory concept. Programmes include interactive performances, theatre, dance, music, puppetry and workshops, with many experiences encouraging visitors to join in rather than only watch. Events will take place at Freespace and the Xiqu Centre, while Art Park offers easy drop-in activities throughout the day.
Some programmes are ticketed, while others are free. The schedule runs across the festival period, with different events happening on different dates.
