Kayaking, bike tours, hiking and gorging, plus one overnight stay are just some of the awesome outdoor activities you’ll enjoy when you join Spring Adventure Camp at Treasure Island. Based on stunning Pui O Beach and the surrounding countryside in Lantau, the week-long day camps provide supervised pick up and drop off at Central Ferry Pier each day as well as a healthy lunch and snacks. Frantic parents need not worry if they missed something when packing the overnight bag, as there’s essential camping items available for purchase, from sleeping bags to sunscreen.

Join an ESF Sports Spring Camp for one or two active weeks of Multi Sports camp or a specialist sports clinic. The Multi Sports Camp enables children to enjoy a range of sporting activities, and specialist clinics are a great way for children to further develop their swimming, football, tennis or gymnastic skills during the holiday.

Kids will love the chance to go wild and get close to nature at these beautiful eco camps. Each day has a different theme,: ‘Teddy Bear Survival Camp’, ‘We’re Building a Tree House’, ‘Walking with Waterfalls’ and ‘Egg-Static: Easter egg scavenger hunt’. and all activities are geared around enjoying and understanding the natural environment and will include adventure walks, building dens, swimming in rock pools, planting vegetables and visiting farm animals. Think of an activity and chances are Hong Kong’s YWCA has an Easter camp for it! Experts in keeping kids entertained, YWCA is offering a range of sporting activities this year, including gymnastics and trampoline, ice skating, rock climbing and more! What better way to get ready for the Summer months ahead than with a swimming camp for the little munchkins. Hong Kong’s premier swim school will be holding three and five-day Easter camps at West Island School in Pok Fu Lam. These camps are a great way to increase your child’s confidence in the water, while giving you greater peace of mind on your next beach getaway!

No need to park the sports bag while school’s out. At S4K’s Easter Multi-activity Camp, children will have the opportunity to play a bunch of different sports and engage in multiple activities. Their trained coaches have been helping HK kids reach their athletic goals since 2010 with a fun and bespoke program including soccer, basketball, rugby, gymnastics and swimming. For a different kind of athletic activity, there’s also treasure hunts and to wind down, movie time. Easter coincides with the best time to be out on the water in Hong Kong as the winds are ideal. Aberdeen Boat Club’s Easter camp offers a huge range of sailing courses and the best part is, they are now offering three adult courses so mum and dad can go sailing at the same time as the kids!

We would all love to give our kids’ STEM education a boost and these Easter camps are a fun way to do it. STEMex offers inspiring courses that teach kids engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Their engineering Easter camps will get children from 4-11 involved in fascinating design projects. In the ‘Inventor’s Camp’ kids will design their own wind-up toy, build a simple electric circuit and even invent kinetic sand. ‘Earth to Heaven’ camp kids will investigate different components of a rocket, design a floating balloon that can carry passengers and figure out how to protect astronauts in a lunar vehicle base. In the ‘Design Extreme’ camp, the mini-engineers will apply knowledge of energy conversion, force and friction to solve practical problems to the extreme with limited resources.

Brainiacs in the family will get their fill at any of Mochy Kid’s intensive Easter camps. The Mensa-inspired IQ camp will teach them how to observe, think and analyze strategically in an intense, but fun setting, through activities like Rubik’s cube solving and speed math drills. Nurture your little Einstein with these fabulous, hands-on camps that make learning fun and engaging. Running for more than ten years now, YWCA’s Little and Junior Scientist camps are still hugely popular and allow kids to blow things up, test hypotheses, change states of matter and delve into the scientific process.

Lego-loving kids will be in heaven at these Easter and spring themed workshops. Run at various Lego authorised centres around the city, this is a hands-on creative activity where kids can design and build fantastic structures in collaboration with other young builders. Little ones can begin with Lego Duplo and older kids will be challenged with Lego Robotics.

This outer-space and moon-themed science camp will get kids involved in STEM learning in fun and creative ways. They will use motorised K’Nex to build their own lunar rover and construct a mystery moon phase box. Once they’ve completed their Astronaut Training your little scientists will be ready to blast off! Maggie & Rose is a private family members club throughout the year, but at Easter, non-members get to indulge in a fun range of cooking, art and music activities in beautiful Repulse Bay. There are five delightful drop-off camps to choose from for kiddies aged 4-8, with lunch or tea, snacks and drinks included. Camps like ‘Carrotzania’, where they’ll learn how to cook up carrot calzones and carrotslaw, or ‘Balloon Bonanza’, where things get wonderfully messy as they fill various balloons with paint that are then dipped, dyed and popped!

Parents with kids who always have their noses in a book should definitely consider sending them to a writing workshop at Elephant Community Press. Avid readers often become terrific writers, so let your child discover their inner author through creative writing, poetry and publishing workshops. Let them spend a colourful Easter holiday learning a myriad of art techniques, from mixed media to manga. The Oxford and Cambridge Singing School is launching their first ever course in Hong Kong over the Easter holiday. It will be held in the splendid surroundings of St. John’s Cathedral and will be led by three experts in choral music and children’s singing. The course includes training in singing technique, music theory and history, and experience of the finest classical choral music. The aim of the course is to teach a broad range of musical skills as well as instill a deep love of choral music. The courses are open to children of all experience, as they tailor their coaching to accommodate all levels of attainment.

Kids will love this camp’s focus on the ‘magic of Mandarin’ as it explores Chinese characters, pronunciation and sentence structure. The theme of this year’s camp is ‘Mandarin + Science + Chef’, There’s also a Mandarin Chef option which will see youngsters cooking a three-course Chinese meal and learning all the ingredients along the way, along with doing science experiments like creating a volcano eruption to making a parachute. For students preparing for YCT/GAPSK/IB Mandarin exams, there are Easter intensive courses on offer too, with a maximum of four students per group (6 yrs+ and 10yrs+).
