Hong Kong will host the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026 awards for the first time on 25 March, marking another milestone for the city’s food and hospitality scene. The announcement follows a landmark year in which Bar Leone was named The World’s Best Bar and Rosewood Hong Kong was crowned The World’s Best Hotel, making Hong Kong the first city to secure both global titles in the same year.
The ceremony will bring together top chefs, restaurateurs, and industry leaders from across Asia, further underlining Hong Kong’s reputation as one of the region’s leading culinary hubs. Hong Kong’s broader dining scene has also performed strongly in Asia’s 50 Best rankings. In 2025, The Chairman and Wing placed second and third respectively, reinforcing the city’s depth of culinary talent.
With the 2026 awards approaching, Hong Kong is preparing for a week of celebrations and industry events that will spotlight its role in shaping Asia’s evolving food culture. And who knows, a Hong Kong restaurant could be named the best in Asia.
