Lee Tung Avenue will welcome the Chinese New Year season with its “Lanterns and Blossoms Celebrate Year of the Horse” campaign, running from 29 January to 15 March 2026.

The centrepiece of the celebration is a large-scale lantern installation, with more than 800 traditional Chinese lanterns suspended above the 200-metre tree-lined avenue. Designed in red and gold, the lantern display is intended to symbolise good fortune and prosperity, creating one of the most prominent festive installations in the city during the holiday period.

In addition to the lantern display, Lee Tung Avenue has announced a series of traditional Chinese New Year programmes. These include scheduled dragon and lion dance performances, which will bring live cultural entertainment to the area, as well as a Chinese New Year market featuring festive snacks, seasonal products, and gift items.

Visitors can also expect on-site calligraphy activities, with handwritten fai chun distributed during the campaign period, along with special spending rewards for shoppers and diners. A peach blossom garden will be set up at the open-air Central Piazza, adding another traditional element associated with luck and harmony.
