The Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has announced the return of its free cross-border coach programme for international visitors arriving at Hong Kong International Airport.

Starting on 20 January 2026, eligible travellers can receive complimentary one-way coach tickets for direct transfers from the airport’s restricted area to Macao via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. The offer will run until 31 December 2026, subject to seat availability and operator terms.

The initiative builds on similar promotions launched in 2024 and previously operated between May and December 2025. However, unlike last year, the 2026 scheme currently applies only to coach services and does not include ferry transfers.

MGTO is partnering again with Hong Kong & Macao International Airport Transportation Service Company Limited, also known as Macau HK Airport Direct, to deliver the programme.

Travellers can collect tickets at designated counters inside the restricted area upon arrival at Hong Kong International Airport (E2), specifically at Ticket Counters 38–40 in the E2 Transfer Area, and may book in advance through the operator’s official website (www.macauhkairportbus.com).

Free tickets can be used multiple times during the promotion period, within quota limits.
