Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK), has officially opened applications for entry in the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 academic years. Situated in a state-of-the-art campus in Pak Shek Kok near the Science Park, the authorised International Baccalaureate World School offers the full IB continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP), to pupils aged 5 to 18.
Why Choose MCHK?
At MCHK, academic excellence is paired with strong pastoral care and a focus on the Malvern Qualities, including curiosity, resilience, and kindness. Pupils belong to one of the school’s Houses, creating a close-knit community where they are supported by Housemasters and Housemistresses.
Outside the classroom, pupils can take part in the school’s Signature Programme, built around six pillars: Internationalism, STEAM, Sustainability, Adventure, Leadership, and Service. Opportunities range from student-led CCAs and Model United Nations to outdoor expeditions, Round Square exchanges, arts showcases, sports tournaments, and collaborations with NGOs.
Those who love sports can enjoy fantastic on-campus facilities, including a 25-meter, six-lane swimming pool, two sports halls, a dance studio, and a rooftop sky pitch, supporting competitive teams in football, swimming, rugby, and more.
When to Apply
Applications are now open for 2026–2027 and 2027–2028, with families able to apply up to two years in advance of the desired entry year. Early application is strongly encouraged, as places are highly competitive.
Priority is given to Nomination Right holders, siblings of current pupils, children of Old Malvernians, transfers from other Malvern schools, and applicants who bring diversity.
How to Apply
Start with the online application, creating a Parent Log-in account and uploading required documents: a recent passport-style photo, birth certificate, passport, HKID or visa records, and the past two years’ school reports. The application fee (HK$1,800) must be submitted by cheque or wire transfer.
Once complete, the admissions team will arrange an age-appropriate assessment and interview to evaluate English proficiency, academic readiness, and potential to thrive in MCHK’s environment. Successful applicants receive a formal offer; if places are full, they are placed on a waiting list.
Applications are open now. Visit Malvern College Hong Kong’s website for online application, full admissions details, and school information.
