It’s almost the jolliest time of the year! And if you have kids, you know you have to go all the way. Gifts, gingerbread houses, Elf on a Shelf, and of course, Santa visits. With the craziness increasing as we gear up for the festivities and the end of the year, it can be easy to get overwhelmed. But, don’t worry – we’ve got you! So get all dressed up, make your wish lists, and get ready to take a photo with Santa at these spots in Hong Kong.

Winter Wonderland Central — November 14-January 4

Statue Square Gardens becomes a magical Christmas Town with a 20-metre tree, toy spaceships, a whistling mini train and twinkling lights. Santa Claus makes surprise visits throughout the season to greet families and take photos. The area also hosts a Christmas market from November 28 and nightly immersive light shows. Everything is outdoors and open to the public.

When: November 14, 2025-January 4, 2026 (Santa appears on surprise visits)

Pacific Place Ticket to Christmas — November 28-December 25

Pacific Place and Starstreet Precinct turn into a European-style Christmas Grand Central train station filled with whimsical characters and festive joy. The main attraction for children is the Santa Express: board a magical train ride to Santa’s travelling grotto, take a framed photo with Santa, enjoy sweet treats and meet Felix the Fox. All proceeds support Operation Santa Claus charity. Registration is required due to limited spots.

When: Non-peak: November 28-30, December 1-4 & 6-11, 2025 (12:00 nn – 8:30 pm); Peak: December 12-15 & 17-25, 2025 (11:00 am – 9:30 pm)
Where: Level L1 (near Lane Crawford), Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty

Island Shangri-La Santa’s Secret Kingdom — November 29-December 26

Island Shangri-La becomes a festive wonderland with Santa’s Secret Kingdom: The Magic Menders. Families on Santa’s “nice list” are invited to explore themed experiences in three rooms: Music Room, Toy Room and Memory Forge, to unlock a music box, craft a cuddly toy and design a memory box. Guided by Elf Wrinkle, the adventure ends with a private meet-and-greet with Santa, carolling and photos.

Alternatively, a separate lobby session offers quick visits with Santa parking his sleigh at Level 6. The little ones can listen to his travel stories, share wishes, receive festive sweets or small gifts and take home a cherished photo.

The Murray Santa’s Grotto — December 6-7, 13-14, 20-26

The Murray welcomes families to a cosy Santa’s Grotto on Level 2, surrounded by elegant Penhaligon’s decorations. Each 15-minute private session includes a personal visit with Santa, a complimentary framed instant photo, mulled wine for adults and hot chocolate or juice for children, plus a small gift for every child.

When: 6-7, 13-14, 20-26 December 2025 (3:00 pm – 6:30 pm)

Fortnum & Mason Storytelling with Santa Claus — December 6-21

Kids aged 3-11 gather at 181 Fortnum & Mason in K11 Atelier for an intimate storytelling session with Father Christmas. Listen to a festive tale, receive a North Pole goodie bag and whisper last-minute wishes. An optional Afternoon Tea package follows the session, with children enjoying it free when an accompanying adult books Afternoon Tea.

Mira Place Gift Warmth This Christmas — December 6, 13, 20, 24 & 25

Aqualuna Annual Santa Adventure Cruise — December 7, 13, 14, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24 & 25

Swap the sleigh for red sails as Santa boards the iconic aqualuna junk for a magical 60-minute Victoria Harbour cruise. Children hunt candy canes, craft festive items, sing carols with elves, enjoy Christmas cookies and hot chocolate, take photos with Santa and share wishlists. Well-behaved little ones receive a gift from Father Christmas himself.

ifc mall Christmas Headquarters — December 12-14 & 24-25

ifc mall opens Santa’s Christmas Headquarters, a secret wonderland where families join elves, reindeer and angels in festive preparations. Explore interactive zones for tree-planting, suit-tailoring and reindeer training. The highlight is the Santa Lookout meet-and-greet with a personal visit, framed printed photo and Santa Surprise Treats. All proceeds support Make-A-Wish Hong Kong.

The Verandah Santa at Repulse Bay — December 22-24

After a festive breakfast or lunch at The Verandah, children are escorted to the wood-panelled Reading Room with its crackling log fire and glittering tree for a private visit with Santa. Share wish lists, take cherished photos and create lasting Christmas memories in this classic seaside setting.

THE SOUTHSIDE lights up with a 10-metre starlit tree, seven festive photo spots and an outdoor 8-metre tree with animated Santa displays. Santa Claus hosts personal meet-and-greet sessions in the atrium, perfect for children to share wish lists and take photos amid the glittering installations and daily light shows.
