Ocean Park Hong Kong is on the lookout for performers for its annual Halloween Fest. The park is hiring 1,200 performers as well as frontline and backstage professionals, and will accept applications until June 23. Successful applicants will get contracts that run from August-end to October-end this year.
Aspiring performers do not need prior experience – only the ability to be convincing when it comes to sending chills down the spines of visitors at haunted houses, dancing to the rhythm of the night, or channelling their inner ghost king.
The park is also looking for people to fill non-performer roles, such as event assistants, performer escorts, technicians, festive food and beverage servers, and retail staff.
The positions are not necessarily full-time as applications are also open to 9-to-5 working professionals and students. Interested applicants can apply via WhatsApp, and those who make the cut will get calls for auditions running from late June to July.
