Ocean Park will launch its Lunar New Year Fiesta on 17 February, running until 22 March 2026. The programme will include themed decorations at Waterfront Plaza, scheduled lion and dragon dance performances, and appearances by the God of Fortune. Visitors will also be able to explore Ocean Park x Sanrio characters “Marine Wonders”, featuring six well-known characters presented in an ocean adventure setting.

One of the main photo locations will be set at Waterfront Plaza, where visitors will be able to walk through large spinning windmills and themed festive displays. The area will include lucky decorations such as wishing knots, flower beds and bamboo, along with horse drums designed to match the Year of the Horse theme.

Traditional performances will be staged in the first week of the event:
- Lion dance performances will run from 17 to 19 February at Aqua City Lagoon Platform and The Waterfront, with shows scheduled at 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm and 4:45pm.
- Dragon dance performances will follow from 20 to 22 February at the same locations, with showtimes at 12:30pm, 3:00pm and 4:45pm.
- The God of Fortune will also make regular appearances at Waterfront Plaza from 17 to 22 February 2026, with time slots at 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
Separately, a themed parade float photo spot will be available from 18 February to 3 March 2026, featuring Ocean Park transport icons and panda-themed New Year styling.

Ocean Park x Sanrio characters “Marine Wonders” will also run during the event, with Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin and Hangyodon featured in an ocean adventure theme.
Other citywide celebrations will also take place around Chinese New Year, including the Lunar New Year Parade 2026, fireworks over Victoria Harbour, the Wishing Tree Festival, and Lunar New Year markets. Many of these usually start in the week around the public holidays, so it is worth checking dates early when planning.
