The Stanley Christmas Market is set to open this friday, running daily from 12PM to 8PM for 10 days from December 19 to 28 across Stanley Plaza and Murray House.
More than 100 booths will fill the waterfront area, bringing together local makers, independent brands, and food vendors for one of the season’s largest outdoor Christmas markets in Hong Kong.
Visitors can browse a wide range of crafts and handmade gifts, from festive decorations to small-batch accessories, alongside street food and seasonal treats.
Named “Merry Gingermas“, ginger is set to take centre stage this year, with highlights including ginger milk gelato, gingerbread donuts, ginger-aged butter curry, and herbal cocktails made with locally sourced Hong Kong ginger. A ginger-inspired art gallery featuring works by local artists adds a creative element to the market, while a dedicated charity corner supports the Society for Abandoned Animals.
Entertainment runs throughout the 10 days, with daily performances spanning busking, dance showcases, ballet, and Christmas carolling, creating a lively atmosphere from afternoon through evening. Families can also plan a visit around Santa Claus meet-ups, scheduled for December 20, 21, 25, and 26.
Getting there is made easier with a free shuttle bus running every 30 minutes between Stanley Plaza and Admiralty, making the market accessible for both locals and visitors looking for a festive day out by the sea.
