WestK Christmas Town 2025 has officially opened on December 12 and is now running at the Art Park in West Kowloon until January 11, 2026. Set across the outdoor lawns by Victoria Harbour, the event is designed for easy walks, casual visits, and relaxed evenings.

Visitors can explore light installations, browse Christmas markets, watch live performances, and take part in seasonal activities. Most areas are free to enter, while a small number of workshops and experiences require spending or on-site redemption. With multiple zones and programmes running throughout the site, this guide breaks down everything happening across WestK Christmas Town.

WestK Christmas Forest

The WestK Christmas Forest takes place on the Harbourside West Lawn from December 12 to January 1.

The area features over 60 Christmas trees arranged around a 12-metre-tall centrepiece with gentle lighting. Animal installations are placed among treehouse structures and a carousel. The forest is open every day, with opening hours varying by date, and stays open until 1am from December 24 to 26. Entry is free.

WestK Christmas Forest (WestK)

It opens daily from 2pm to 11pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 12nn to 11pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, covering the periods from December 12 to 23 and from December 27 to January 1. From December 24 to 26, the forest follows extended holiday hours and remains open from 12nn until 1am.

Entry is free.

Santa Claus Meet and Greet

Santa Claus will make special appearances at the Art Park from December 24 to 26, 2025, at the Harbourside West Lawn. Meet and greet sessions run daily at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm, with each session lasting 40 minutes.

To take part, visitors must spend HK$200 or more via electronic payment at any WestK food and beverage or retail outlet, or at the WestK Christmas Lane, or present proof of a HK$200 or above donation to SCMP Charities Limited’s Operation Santa Claus. Tickets are issued as queue numbers one hour before each session at the Christmas Treehouse, on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited capacity.

WestK Christmas Forest Snowfall Performance

The WestK Christmas Forest Snowfall Performance is a short festive show that adds artificial snowfall to the Christmas Forest area. It runs from December 24 to 26, 2025, at the Harbourside West Lawn in the Art Park.

Snowfall sessions take place between 5pm and 9pm, with each session lasting 15 minutes. The performance is free to watch and is set against the night view of Victoria Harbour.

WestK Christmas Lane

Along the Harbourside East Lawn, WestK Christmas Lane brings together around 30 pop-up booths selling festive food, drinks, gifts, and small finds.

Visitors can try everything from local Hong Kong flavours to Western holiday treats, browse handmade crafts, pick up coffee, baked goods, or pizza, and shop limited-edition Christmas items. The lane is also pet friendly, with stalls offering festive treats for dogs and pet photography.

It runs on selected dates from December 12 to 14 and December 19 to 31, opening from 2pm to 9pm on most days, with extended hours until 11pm on December 24 to 26 and December 31.

Merry Balloon Park

Merry Balloon Park is an inflatable playground for the little ones that will feature large balloon installations where families can relax, walk around, and let children play among colourful inflatable characters.

The park is open daily from 9:30am to 10:40pm and is designed as an easy daytime stop during a visit to WestK.

One of the highlights, the Giant Balloon Parade, has been moved from December 28 to January 11 and will see large IP character balloons appear along the harbourfront.
