Winter Wonderland in Central officially reopens today in Statue Square after its suspension on 29 November in the aftermath of the Tai Po fire.

From 10 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, Hong Kong WinterFest returns to Central and brings festive lights, decorations and seasonal activities to the heart of the city. Statue Square Gardens will once again transform into a Christmas Town, complete with a towering tree and playful décor.

Visitors can also enjoy an immersive light show across nearby landmark buildings, and stroll along an illuminated Starlight Boulevard on Chater Road. The event is free to visit, making it an accessible winter highlight for all ages.

Christmas Town at Statue Square

Christmas Town will take shape in Statue Square Gardens, anchored by a striking 20-metre Christmas tree surrounded by twinkling lights and oversized toy-themed decorations. From December 10, head to the Christmas Market, where you can find festive bites and handmade gifts across 12 wooden chalets. Advanced registration on the website is required for Christmas wreath, snow globe, and other workshop experiences.

Santa Claus is set to make appearances in multiple sessions daily throughout the season, adding a playful touch for families. The atmosphere tends to be livelier in the evenings and on weekends, so visiting earlier in the day can offer a calmer experience.
