Vincenzo Capuano is preparing to open in Hong Kong, with its first venue set for Lee Tung Avenue in Wan Chai. The pizzeria is led by Vincenzo Capuano, a Naples-born, multi-generation pizzaiolo known for a modern take on Neapolitan pizza that still keeps the basics right. The brand was ranked 13th in the 50 Top World Artisan Pizza Chains 2025 list, which adds extra weight to its arrival in the city.
Expect a soft, high-hydration dough that bakes up light in the middle with an airy crust. Toppings usually range from classic combinations to more creative choices, so there is variety without losing that clear Italian direction.
Service is also part of the identity. Pizzas are often cut with scissors at the table, which makes sharing easier and adds a small moment of interaction with staff. Fried starters are also part of the line-up, offering something to snack on before the main pie.
Beyond Italy, the brand has already opened in Amsterdam (the Netherlands), Berlin (Germany), Pristina (Kosovo) and Singapore. The offering is expected to be rounded out with a proper drinks list, including wine, beer, spritz-style options and cocktails, making the Wan Chai venue suited to a quick meal or a longer sit-down.
