Since December 2020, Hong Kong has designated certain hotels as quarantine facilities for incoming travellers. In order to enter the city, you must be a Hong Kong resident or study/work visa holder, fully vaccinated, and undergo a seven-day long quarantine in a hotel (unless you’re coming from mainland China/Macau). Travellers must test Covid-negative on day five with a PCR test and on days six and seven with rapid antigen tests. This must be followed by seven days of self-monitoring at home.

The following list of 7th and 8th cycle designated quarantine hotels (DQH) is valid for quarantine periods from 1 March 2022 to 31 July 2022 and 1 August 2022 to 31 October 2022, respectively. Hotel Alexandra, Grand City Hotel, Novotel Century, and Novotel Citygate will stop being quarantine hotels in the 8th cycle.

If the last day of your planned quarantine falls after the validity period, it’s best to wait for the next list to be released before you make your booking, as some hotels will be removed and others added. Nearly all quarantine packages offer 3 meals a day, with a 10% service charge reflected in the total booking price.

The hotels are listed in descending order from highest to lowest prices per night for non-suite, one-person (single) rooms.
