The Updated List Of Hong Kong’s Government Designated Quarantine Hotels

The Hong Kong government has defined 'cycles' or rounds of designated quarantine hotels since late 2020 which all international arrivals must complete a mandatory stay in. Here's our convenient comparative list in descending price order.

Update: As of 26 September 2022, Hong Kong’s hotel quarantine policy has ended. As of 14 December 2022, arriving travellers are still subject to daily RATs and two PCR tests, but are allowed to enter restaurants, gyms, etc.

Since December 2020, Hong Kong has designated certain hotels as quarantine facilities for incoming travellers. Quarantine started at 14 days long and at its peak, reached 21 days. In order to enter the city, you must be a Hong Kong resident or study/work visa holder, fully vaccinated, and quarantine four days at a hotel and then three days at home, effective 12 August 2022.

The following list of Hong Kong’s 8th cycle designated quarantine hotels (DQH) is valid for quarantine periods from 1 August 2022 to 31 October 2022. If the last day of your planned quarantine falls after the validity period, it’s best to wait for the next list to be released before you make your booking, as some hotels will be removed and others added. Nearly all quarantine packages offer 3 meals a day, with a 10% service charge reflected in the total booking price.

The hotels are listed in descending order from highest to lowest prices per night for non-suite, one-person (single) rooms.
