McDonald’s Hong Kong is bringing back one of its biggest throwbacks, with the Big N’ Tasty returning nearly 20 years after its local debut and almost a decade after it disappeared from menus.
The comeback taps straight into local fast-food nostalgia, especially with Eason Chan returning to the campaign after being linked to the burger in its earlier era. For fans who remember the original launch, this is a proper McDonald’s nostalgia memory making its way back.
Big N’ Tasty And A New Crispy Chicken Version
The returning Big N’ Tasty keeps the familiar formula: a sesame bun, quarter-pound beef patty, cheese, fresh tomato, lettuce, pickles, onion and signature salad-style sauce.
McDonald’s is also adding the new Big N’ Tasty Crispy Chicken, swapping beef for a juicy crispy chicken thigh while keeping the tomato, lettuce and bold Tasty profile.
Grimace-Themed Treats Join From July 7
The celebration also goes purple from July 7, when Grimace-themed treats arrive for a limited time.
The line-up includes the Grimace Shake, Kyoho grape soda, blueberry sundae and taro pie, giving the comeback an extra playful twist.
App users can also use 100 points plus HK$1 to redeem the Grimace Shake from July 7, making it one of the campaign’s key limited-time offers.
