CCW Global Hong Kong

If you’re thinking about a trip next year, HK Express has released discounted seats for destinations across Asia. The five-day sale began on 26 October, with travel dates stretching from 3 January 2027 to 27 March 2028, depending on the route.

That leaves room to plan anything from a quick visit to Taipei to a longer holiday in Japan. But check the booking rules before choosing your dates: these promotional prices only apply when purchasing a return journey from Hong Kong.

There is no single sale price for every destination. Instead, the airline has set three starting rates for its Lite fare. Here’s where each one can take you:

  • From HK$13 per sector: Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung in Taiwan; Hanoi, Da Nang and Phu Quoc in Vietnam; and Beijing Daxing, Changzhou, Hefei, Ningbo, Sanya, Wuxi and Yiwu in mainland China.
  • From HK$63 per sector: Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket in Thailand; Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur (Subang) and Penang in Malaysia; and Clark and Manila in the Philippines.
  • From HK$113 per sector: Tokyo (Haneda or Narita), Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Okinawa, Hiroshima, Ishigaki, Komatsu, Sendai and Takamatsu in Japan, plus Seoul, Busan, Jeju and Daegu in South Korea.

The Lite price includes a small personal item and one cabin bag. If you need checked luggage, the Essential option includes a small personal item and a 20kg checked bag, with promotional fares starting at HK$113, HK$163 or HK$213 per sector, depending on the destination.

These are base fares, so the final cost will be higher once taxes and surcharges are added. You must book a return journey leaving Hong Kong, although open-jaw itineraries, where you return from a different city, are included. Seats are limited and the cheapest rates may not appear on every flight.

Ishigaki has a shorter travel window, from 28 March to 30 October 2027. Bookings for all destinations close at 11.45pm Hong Kong time on Friday, 30 October, and the promotion is available through the designated website or official WeChat mini programme.
