Causeway Bay is getting another spot for second-hand fashion, as Japanese retailer 2nd STREET prepares to open its first store on Hong Kong Island in September. The new branch will be located at Windsor House, the shopping mall on Great George Street, bringing the chain’s buy-and-sell concept right into one of the 852’s busiest retail neighbourhoods.

The opening will mark 2nd STREET’s sixth location in Hong Kong, following stores in Tseung Kwan O, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tuen Mun, Sha Tin and Mong Kok. Until now, shoppers on Hong Kong Island have had to cross the harbour or head further into the New Territories to visit one of its local branches.

2nd STREET specialises in pre-owned clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, with customers able to shop for second-hand pieces or bring in items they no longer want to sell back to the store.

Its racks cover everything from everyday streetwear to designer labels, so part of the appeal is never quite knowing what you might come across. Brands commonly found at its stores include Supreme, The North Face, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, A Bathing Ape, Nike, Levi’s and New Balance, alongside plenty of other Japanese and international names.

The new store will replace the former Bershka at Shop B77 on the Basement Floor of Windsor House, 311 Gloucester Road. An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but the Windsor House branch is currently scheduled to welcome customers in September 2026.
