Thai milk tea brand Karun is preparing to make its Hong Kong debut this October at AIRSIDE in Kai Tak.
Founded in Thailand, the brand has built a strong following for its premium take on Thai tea and distinctive drinks. The Hong Kong opening will also mark Karun’s first overseas branch, arriving as the company celebrates its seventh anniversary.
What Is Karun Thai Tea Known For?
Karun has become one of Thailand’s best-known premium Thai tea brands, with nearly 20 locations in Bangkok shopping centres and a reputation for giving the familiar drink a more polished twist.
Its tea is made with premium Thai leaves and a family recipe designed to deliver a rich aroma without becoming overly sweet or bitter. The menu includes classic iced Thai milk tea, as well as its signature Karun Blended Thai Tea topped with gold leaf.
Other choices include Thai tea shakes, slushes, black tea, almond milk tea, floral flavours and Thai tea gelato, with adjustable sweetness levels too.
Karun’s First Overseas Branch Will Open At AIRSIDE
The Hong Kong store is expected to open at Shop 220 on Level 2 of AIRSIDE in October, although an exact opening date has not yet been announced.
The launch is a major milestone for Karun, marking its first international location. To celebrate, the brand is also running a seventh-anniversary promotion in Thailand tied to the upcoming Hong Kong opening.
