The world-famous House of Dancing Water is making a grand return to City of Dreams Macau this year. Known for its breathtaking aquatic performances, this iconic show blends aerial acrobatics, dramatic storytelling, and cutting-edge stage technology to create an unforgettable experience. After a long hiatus since June 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the reimagined production promises to set a new global standard in entertainment. The premiere of the new House of Dancing Water is set for May 2025 at City of Dreams Macau, with tickets officially available from March 10.

The Legacy of House of Dancing Water

First launched in 2010 by Lawrence Ho, Chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts and Entertainment, House of Dancing Water has captivated audiences worldwide with nearly 4,000 performances. The 90-minute show that was conceptualised by theatre director Franco Dragone features a romantic and visually stunning narrative that transcends cultures. Set in a unique 270-degree theatre, it combines advanced water systems, hydraulic lifts, laser projections, and precision lighting to create an immersive spectacle. With a blend of heart-stopping acrobatics, dramatic effects, and a powerful storyline, it is touted to be one of the most ambitious and awe-inspiring productions ever staged.

Highlights of the Reimagined Aquatic Show

The reimagined version is directed by Giuliano Peparini of Peparini Studios and produced by Our Legacy Creations. While preserving the magic of the original, the new show introduces a fresh artistic vision, integrating modern storytelling techniques and enhanced visual effects. Audiences can look forward to a richer, more immersive experience, including interactive pre-show engagements where performers mingle with spectators before the main event. Featuring nearly 300 cast and crew members from over 30 countries, the show will combine daring stunts, dynamic choreography, and innovative water performances.
