ABEBE Bakery, the viral Korean bakery best known for generously filled cream donuts and cream buns, will open its first local shop in Tsim Sha Tsui on September 13.

Originally from Jeju Island, the bakery is bringing its soft, cream-heavy creations to Mody Road, with free opening giveaways planned later in September.

ABEBE Bakery

ABEBE Bakery started from Jeju Island’s Dongmun Market and became popular for turning local Korean flavours into soft, generously filled baked treats.

The brand is famous for its cream donuts and cream buns, with flavours inspired by Jeju ingredients and familiar Korean dessert combinations.

Signature items include Hallabong citrus cream buns, black sesame mochi cream buns, Jeju green tea cream donuts and chocolate cream donuts. The appeal is simple: soft dough, rich fillings and flavours that feel both playful and nostalgic. It is the kind of bakery where one bun can easily turn into a box.

Free Giveaways During Hong Kong Opening

ABEBE Bakery’s first Hong Kong shop will open on September 13 at Shop W, G/F, 37 Mody Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. The bakery will serve freshly made batches daily, with items available until sold out.

To celebrate its opening on Mody Road, ABEBE Bakery will also give away popular donut buns on September 19 and 20, from 4pm to 6pm. Each person can receive one item, with limited quantities available on a first-come, first-served basis.
