Ready to get well and truly spooked this Halloween? Ocean Park Hong Kong is bringing six new haunted houses to its premises, from September 7 to November 3, 2024. This year’s theme is Horrors of the Hidden City based on urban legends inspired by stories from a “mysterious walled city”.

Thrill seekers who enter the Dreadful Walled City will encounter malevolent spirits that slink through dimly lit alleys, ready to ensnare the unwary. Once they leave this zone, visitors will find themselves in a Prison Escape situation, in which inmates plot a breakout and some of them mysteriously vanish. The Netherworld Wedding beckons brave souls who dare to become part of a haunted family’s eternal union, while Hotel Morte is poised to be an opulent night masquerade with a sinister secret.

This year’s Haunted Houses are inspired by the theme ‘Horrors of the Hidden City’.

The Horror of Homestead invites visitors to discover whether this Japanese-style dwelling is merely an eerie abode or truly haunted by spectral forces. If you fancy a bit of a mystery, visit the Forbidden Zone 724, where paranormal investigators who risk delving into the area’s mysteries vanish without a trace.

And what Halloween is complete without bags of candy goodness? Get your fill of sweet treats and coupons at Ocean Park’s Everyone Trick-or-Treat, with its interactive games and Candy Piñata Party. Whiskers and Friends will also be kitted out in Halloween costumes at the Ocean Park Star Match to dance and juggle with everyone.
