Super Nintendo World is officially on the way to Universal Studios Singapore, marking one of the biggest upcoming additions to Resorts World Sentosa.
The popular Nintendo-themed land is expected to arrive around 2030 as part of the Greater Sentosa Master Plan, announced on July 3, which will reshape Sentosa and Pulau Brani over the coming decades.
For Hongkongers, Universal Studios Singapore is already one of the Lion City’s most popular family attractions, and this new land could make the park an even bigger travel draw.
What We Know About Super Nintendo World Singapore
The new Super Nintendo World area has been confirmed as part of upcoming experiences at Resorts World Sentosa, where Universal Studios Singapore is located.
While Singapore’s version has not yet revealed its ride line-up, the concept is already a global hit thanks to its colourful, immersive Mario-inspired worlds and family-friendly interactive features.
The first Super Nintendo World opened at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, before later expanding to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Epic Universe. The Singapore edition will bring the Nintendo-themed experience closer to travellers in Southeast Asia.
The Greater Sentosa Master Plan
Universal has not yet announced the exact opening date, layout, attractions or character experiences for Super Nintendo World Singapore. More details are expected as Resorts World Sentosa’s wider development plans progress.
The Greater Sentosa Master Plan will also bring new hotels, attractions, beaches, transport upgrades and entertainment spaces, while integrating Sentosa more closely with Pulau Brani.
Universal Studios Singapore recently added Illumination’s Minion Land, and Super Nintendo World is set to become another major upgrade to the park’s line-up.
