The 852 is getting ready to host its first-ever Ultra Hong Kong, which is a step up from the previous Road to Ultra festivals held in the city. The EDM extravaganza will take place on September 14 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space and the heat will be turned all the way up for the city’s first major post-summer party. Find out everything you need to know about the artist line-up, which stages they’ll play at, and how you can score tickets.

What is Ultra Hong Kong?

Ultra Hong Kong will be the first two-stage EDM festival organised by Ultra Worldwide in Hong Kong. The prior three editions of Road to Ultra were single-stage events and hosted acts such as David Guetta, Kygo, Martin Garrix, Zedd, and more. Earlier this year, Incheon hosted a three-day Ultra event, and Japan and Taiwan are set to host two-day festivals later this year.

When is Ultra Hong Kong?

Ultra Hong Kong will happen on September 14, 2024 at the Central Harbourfront, which is where the previous Road to Ultra events in the city were held. Festival-goers can party the night away by the iconic Victoria Harbour and against the stunning backdrop of the Hong Kong Island skyline.

Which artists will play at Ultra Hong Kong?

The organisers of Ultra Hong Kong first revealed their Phase 1 line-up, which features legends like Marshmello, Steve Aoki, and Alesso as headliners. The three global stars will play on the Main Stage, as will viral sensation Disco Lines. British star Hot Since 82, melodic techno DJ Massano, and Ukrainian artist Miss Monique will play at the Resistance stage. The organisers recently unveiled its full line-up with 10 more supporting acts: Mykris, Ares Carter, JasonF B2B .TIF, John Masaki B2B Kim Sane, Kable B2B Angus, Lona, Mo-Shi & Leon, Monochrome, Muzic, and Yamatomaya.

What are the stages at Ultra Hong Kong?

The festival will have two stages — the Main Stage and the Resistance Stage — that will immerse partygoers in an electrifying atmosphere. The Main Stage will have the festival’s signature Ultra ‘U’ logo overhead, and 23 trapezoid- and triangle-shaped studded LED panels, which will be the backdrop for the pyramid-shaped DJ booth in the centre where the artists will play. The Resistance Stage, which is for underground house and techno artists, will have precision-mounted LED walls to create a visually spectacular scene, thanks to an interplay of light and shadow.
