UPDATE: The article was updated to include the date of the Dior show in Hong Kong.
Dior is set to bring its 2024 men’s pre-fall collection to Hong Kong on March 23, 2024, according to media reports. The show will showcase designer Kim Jones’s designs for the men’s pre-fall collection, but there are no details about the venue.
This will be the first show that the luxury fashion house will bring to the city since 2014, when it staged a women’s haute couture show, apart from a menswear presentation in 2016. The fashion house has had a presence in Hong Kong market since 1980, with 11 boutiques in the city, six of which feature the menswear line.
The news comes after Louis Vuitton showcased Pharrell’s pre-fall men’s line in Hong Kong at a show at the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui on November 30. The event was a star-studded affair, with high-profile celebrities and A-listers from Hong Kong and Asia — such as film star Chow Yun-fat, members of the Cantopop boy band MIRROR, and Korean actor Song Joong-ki — in attendance, set against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour.
