The Anderson has opened on Anderson Road, with a fresh market, restaurants, neighbourhood services and a 25,000 sq ft rooftop playground. Here is what visitors can find at the new shopping centre in the Kwun Tong area.
There is a new place to pick up groceries, grab lunch or take the kids out around Anderson Road. The Anderson, a 139,000 sq ft shopping mall developed by Link REIT, officially opened on 13 October 2026 in the Kwun Tong area. Alongside its shops and restaurants, the centre has a rooftop playground and places to sit and catch up with friends. It is a useful new stop for people living in the surrounding estates, including On Tat, On Tai and Sau Mau Ping.
Where to Eat and Shop at The Anderson
The ground floor has a fresh market for everyday groceries and a food street where some places serve meals late into the evening. For a quick bite, there is TamJai Yunnan Mixian, MT Sushi, Café de Coral and McDonald’s, among other choices.
It is not all about food. 759 Store and JHC cover some everyday shopping needs, while Optical 88 and Tom Lee Music Academy are among the other businesses inside. The centre also has medical and dental services, so residents can fit a few errands into one visit.
Pawsitive Park: A 25,000 Sq Ft Rooftop Playground
Families have another reason to head upstairs. Pawsitive Park stretches across 25,000 sq ft of rooftop space, with colourful paths and animal-themed play equipment. Children can explore a Slide Tower, Platypus Play Zone, trampoline area and sensory play facilities. The giant cat-shaped structure is easy to spot from the playground.
That makes it easy to combine an afternoon of play with a meal or a grocery run downstairs.
Where to Find The Anderson
There is space to take a break inside too. A 1,800 sq ft atrium has broad steps where visitors can sit, meet friends or wait for the family. The mall’s colourful geometric design also draws on the area’s former quarry.
You’ll find The Anderson at 9 On Kin Road, in the Anderson Road neighbourhood. For those driving, the centre has 111 car park spaces.
