Tsim Sha Tsui East’s illuminated buildings have been a Christmas fixture since 1983. This year, the people watching from the waterfront can apply to become part of the display.

Sino Group is inviting photographs of personal moments, including pictures with partners, relatives, friends or pets. Some entries will be selected, turned into AI animations and included in the evening show. It’s free to enter, but submitting a picture does not guarantee it will appear.

What Will Appear on the Giant Screens?

The Christmas light show, called Party with DJ Santa, features Santa behind DJ decks, accompanied by animated snowmen, gingerbread figures and reindeer.

Between these Christmas scenes, AI-animated photographs submitted by the public will appear on the giant LED screens covering the exteriors of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre.

Rather than displaying the original pictures unchanged, the organisers will use AI to animate the selected images, making them part of the Christmas show.

How Can You Submit Your Photo?

You can choose a photograph with your family, partner, friends or pets. The organisers also ask you to explain the story behind the picture, so it should capture a moment that means something to you.

To take part, complete the online registration form and send your photograph separately by email to tstcpromo@sino.com.

Both steps are required, and applications must be completed by 11:59pm on 23 November 2026. Participation is free.

When Will You Know If Your Photo Was Selected?

The first application window closed on 3 November, with successful participants due to be notified by 6 November.

For the remaining applications, the organisers will contact selected participants by email on or before 27 November.

Not every photograph will be chosen. The organisers make the final selection, and entries missing the required information may be excluded.

Where Can You Watch the Christmas Light Show?

The display runs from 17 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with the building façades illuminated daily from 6pm to 11pm.

You can watch from the Tsim Sha Tsui East waterfront, facing the two buildings across the harbour. You do not need to submit a photograph to visit.

If your picture is selected, you can also head to the waterfront to take a photograph with your animation appearing on the large screens.

Selected animations may also appear at One North in Yuen Long. The organisers have not published a timetable for individual photographs, so participants should follow the information provided in their selection email. The official event page provides the full participation instructions.
