WestK will stage its first New Year Countdown Concert on 31 December, inviting locals and visitors to welcome 2026 in a festive arts-led setting by Victoria Harbour. The event will take place at WestK Christmas Lane on the Harbourside East Lawn of the Art Park and will begin at 10pm.
The First of Its Kind
The concert will feature live performances by local artists including On Chan, Kandy, The Hertz and Nowhere Boys, set against the harbour skyline. As the clock approaches midnight, the countdown will be marked by a large-scale light display across the M+ facade and the ICC, delivering messages of hope and unity as part of the ICC Light and Music Show.
Performances will continue shortly after midnight to carry celebrations into the New Year. To accommodate the occasion, WestK Christmas Forest and WestK Christmas Lane will extend their opening hours until 1am.
Crowd management measures may be implemented if needed, and visitors are advised to use public transport. Extra MTR, bus, minibus and ferry services will operate, with late-night ferries running between WestK and Central to support post-event dispersal.
