The organisers behind EDM festival Creamfields released their first line-up on Wednesday, and revealed that Dutch DJs Martin Garriix and Armin van Buuren, and American artists Illenium and Zhu will headline the Hong Kong edition of this year’s event. The two-day festival will take place at Central Harbourfront on April 13 and 14, and so far features a total of 41 DJ acts from across the world.
Martin Garriix and Zhu will headline Day 1, while Armin van Buuren and Illenium will headline Day 2. The line-up includes international DJ duo Bass Modulators, Germany production prodigy Chris Avantgarde, UK DJ collective PINK PANDA, Australian hardstyle DJ Toneshifterz, and local act YAKO. DJ Set Chase & status, American dubstep DJ and producer Subtronics, and English DJ Dimension will perform in Hong Kong for the first time when they play at the festival.
This year, there will be two Anjuna stages — Anjunadeep on April 13 and Anjunabeats on April 14 — where nine acts will get behind the console. In addition, the Fabled Stage Takeover will feature a total of six acts across two days.
Tickets for Creamfields 2024 will be available from January 11 onwards according to the following schedule:
- January 11, 12pm onwards: Advance one-day passes (HK$1,388) and Advance two-day passes (HK$1,888)
- January 11, 5pm onwards: LNEA pre-sale one-day passes (HK$988) and LNEA two-day passes (HK$1,488)
- January 12, 2pm onwards: Early-bird one day passes (HK$1,088) and early-bird two-day passes (HK$1,588)
Last year, Creamfields made its return to Hong Kong for the first time since 2019, and its headlining artists included heavyweights like Calvin Harris, The Chainsmokers, and Tiësto. The organisers have assured festival-goers that they will do their best to resolve the volume problems and VVIP booth view-obstruction issues that attendees faced in 2023 by “optimising on-site designs through upgraded stages and sound systems”.
