If you’re a Disney superfan with a love for the sea, then mark your calendars for December 10, 2024 as this is when bookings for South East Asia’s first Disney Cruise open for 2025 sailings from Singapore. Disney Adventure, the first Disney Cruise Line ship to homeport in Asia, will depart from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre on three- and four-night voyages from December 15, 2025. Details about pricing and sailing dates will be announced on November 14, 2024.
The 208,000-gross-ton ship can accommodate about 6,700 passengers and 2,500 crew members. The star attractions will be seven themed areas — Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, San Fransokyo Street, Wayfinder Bay, Town Square, Marvel Landing, and Toy Story Place. Passengers can also participate in character meet-and-greets, attend movie screenings, and watch live stage shows, among other activities.
Guests can relax in Disney-themed cabins, available in various styles, with ocean views or charming interior sights. The luxurious Concierge staterooms offer exclusive access to premium amenities, dedicated spaces like the Concierge lounge and spa, and personalised service throughout the cruise. The Disney Adventure features 2,111 staterooms, including inside, oceanview, verandah, and concierge options, each featuring enchanting artwork inspired by Disney, Pixar, or Marvel, along with vibrant storybook landscapes on the headboards.
The ship will also have an array of Disney-themed restaurants that will offer everything from upscale dining to casual bites, with options for Halal and vegetarian diets. The quick-service dining options include Mowgli’s Eatery, Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill, Bewitching Boba & Brews, Cosmic Kebabs, Wheezy’s Freezies, and Pizza Planet. In addition, there will be three unique dining experiences that will open on a rotational basis. They include the Hollywood Spotlight Club, an exclusive venue reminiscent of classic Hollywood, the Navigator’s Club that transports diners to the golden age of cruising, and Animator’s Palate that celebrates Disney and Pixar animation.
Disney Adventure will also feature premium dining and lounges, such as Palo Trattoria that offers Northern Italian dishes like antipasti, pasta, pizza, seafood, and steaks for patrons aged 18 and over. Mike & Sulley’s, which is inspired by the Japanese-style eatery in Monsters, Inc., is a family-friendly restaurant offers three Asian dining experiences: a Japanese steakhouse, a teppanyaki room, and a stylish sushi and sake bar. Then there’s the Buccaneer Bar, where guests can enjoy premium brews and watch live sports with a swashbuckling twist.
