The BTS Exhibition PROOF will come to Hong Kong from June 16-July 16. The exhibition, which is currently under way in Los Angeles, is touted to be an immersive visual journey that explores the seven-member band’s past, present, and future through photographs, videos, and experiential installations. Details of the Hong Kong exhibition – including the venue and ticket prices – have not yet been released.
The BTS Exhibition made its debut in Seoul last year, after which it was held in Busan and Tokyo. Some of the highlights of the event included photographs of the band members and recreations of sets from their most popular music videos. The Los Angeles exhibition will end its two-month run on July 8.
The announcement comes after it was revealed that two solo BTS documentaries – j-hope In The Box and Suga: Road to D-Day – will be screened at 11 theatres in Hong Kong on June 17 and 18.
Both the exhibition and the documentary cinematic screenings will tie in with the band’s 10th anniversary celebrations on June 13. The group is currently on hiatus as two of its members – Jin and J-Hope – have enlisted in the Korean military, with the remaining five members set to follow after they complete their solo projects.
