Hong Kong houses may be small, but that doesn’t mean you can’t spruce them up to celebrate the festivities. So here’s your guide to real, fake and recycled trees, so that you have plenty of time to decorate and get ready for the holidays.

One of the most established suppliers, with a 30-year-plus history selling Christmas trees, is Anglo Chinese. Importing from Oregon, they have Noble, Nordman and Douglas Fir trees, ranging from HK$1,480 to HK$4,770. Brighten Floriculture
While it’s best to visit Brighten Floriculture in-person at the Flower Market, you can also use their website (just enter as a visitor) or their app to discover their wide variety of products. They have a number of artificial trees, both decorated and unadorned, that you can choose from. With heights ranging from one foot to over 10 feet, there is sure to be one for every home size in Hong Kong. You can also check out their charms, ornaments, decorations and much, much more!

Chun Hing Garden
Another leading expert in the gardening and plants business is Chun Hing Garden, which sources its Christmas trees from US plantations. Their Noble Fir, a durable tree featuring dense foliage and soothing aroma, starts at HK$930 (for 3-4 ft). If you are looking for something truly spectacular, you can get a 18-20ft tree for HK$58,850! You can also buy the other necessary festive decorations including wreaths, poinsettias and centrepieces.

Ellermann Design’s Flower Boutique

If you’re worried about how to get your tree home, Gift Flowers offers free, same-day home delivery starting on November 26th. They are known for their Noble Fir trees, with prices ranging from HK$1,999 to HK$4,199. But buy soon, they are running out fast. Their website may be sparse, but you can find some true gems in P&F Garden’s Cyberport showroom and garden. They sell Christmas trees, wreaths and poinsettias, along with a number of other plants and pots, as well as Chinese New Year flowers and plants. Or, if you are looking for landscape gardening, professional interior decoration and garden maintenance, this 30-year-old business could be your go-to!

Rosewood
Not only are they leading Hong Kong’s hospitality scene with their leading hotel and dining experience, Rosewood is also here to make your Christmas truly magical. Their luxury Christmas shop has tons on offer and you can even find decorated trees and wreaths. They have options of fresh wreaths, mini, 6ft and 8ft Noble Fir trees, and even offer set-up and dismantling services, although the price is hefty (HK$9,988 to $16,888). You can also find a number of food, gift and decoration options. We particularly love their Christmas Dog Collar (HK$248), perfect for any of your paw-rent friends!

Florist Paradise
While their key work is focused on gardening projects, during the festive period, this Tai Po-based corporation sells American Christmas trees and flowers, which you can order up to two months in advance. Most of the information is in Chinese, but they have Nobel Firs in six sizes along with poinsettias and other flowers. You can grab a friend to help you translate and complete your order here. And if you’re already thinking ahead, they also have CNY flowers.

Sophie’s Christmas Trees
Another longstanding source of exceptionally high quality trees, Sophie’s Christmas Trees source their products from Portland, Oregon, USA. They have three types of trees, Fraser, Douglas, and Noble Fir, from 4–9ft high, and you can even specify your width and height preference! Do check out their website soon, as they are selling out fast. Sophie’s also provides wreaths and poinsettias (red and white) and a free care kit containing a bag of nutrients for your tree! Delivery, assembly and recycling fees are extra.

van der Bloom
Local florist van der Bloom’s boutiques in Central and Tai Hang are truly spectacular, and their Christmas trees are the same. This year, van der Bloom has created a collection of spirits-themed tabletop trees, door wreaths, potted arrangements, and corner arrangements. The Mulled Wine table top tree and Ornato Sherry wreath look particularly gorgeous! During the rest of the year, you can order a custom fresh or dried flower arrangement to spruce up your surroundings, because why not!

Wah King Garden
Last but not the least is one of Hong Kong’s largest plant wholesalers. Since 1983, they have grown their plants and have now expanded to over one million square metres across Hong Kong and China! Wah King Garden also has a number of retail shops around Hong Kong including Mong Kok, Sheung Shui and Sai Kung. They source their Christmas trees from the US, and you can find more information here. This year, they have Noble Firs ranging from 3-7ft.
