Coldplayers get ready, because the Grammy-winning act behind hits like Yellow and Viva La Vida is finally heading to Hong Kong. In line with previous reports, the quartet will play in the SAR on April 9, 11 and 12, 2025 at the Kai Tak Stadium. Find out everything you need to know before you book your tickets for the shows — from the set list and special guests, to when ticket sales will open.
When and where are Coldplay playing in Hong Kong?
Coldplay will take the stage at the 50,000-capacity Kai Tak Sports Park Main Stadium, which is scheduled to open in early 2025. The three performances, which will be held on April 9, 11 and 12, 2025, will be the stadium’s first concert and a key part of its inaugural celebrations. The shows will begin at 8pm on all 3 days.
How to get tickets for Coldplay’s concerts in Hong Kong?
Four rounds of ticket sales will take place starting October 7, 2024:

How much are Hong Kong Coldplay tickets?
Concert-goers have the option of buying only tickets and Enhanced Experiences packages for Coldplay’s Hong Kong concerts. The tickets will cost:
- HK$2,099: Seated
- HK$1,699: Seated
- HK$1,399: Standing

There are 3 types of Enhanced Experiences packages for the shows:
- Ultimate Spheres Experience (HK$6,599): 1 HK$2,099 premium seated ticket, a behind-the-scenes tour, on-stage photo op by a professional photographer, special escort to designated seats, exclusive merch, sustainable Coldplay gift item, an eco-friendly Coldplay wristband, access to dedicated merch counters.
- Kubik Experience (HK$3,499): 1 HK$2,099 premium seated ticket, dedicated entrance to the venue, sustainable Coldplay gift item, an eco-friendly Coldplay wristband, access to dedicated merch counters.
- Floris Early Entrance Experience (HK$2,799): 1 HK$1,399 standing ticket, early entry on to the pitch, dedicated entrance to the venue, sustainable Coldplay gift item, an eco-friendly Coldplay wristband, access to dedicated merch counters.
Each ticket purchased comes with a HK$150 handling fee.
There is limited availability for the Enhanced Experiences packages and Coldplay will not meet fans during behind-the-scenes tours or for photo ops. Concert-goers who bought tickets during the Artist Pre-Sale can only select the number of seats (a maximum of four) they want to buy, as the seats will be assigned by the computer ticketing system.
There will be two Klook Experience Packages that will go on sale at 10am on October 8, 2024:
- Experience Package 1 (HK$4,840/US$625 onwards): This package will include a one- or two-night stay at a four- or five-star hotel of your choice in Hong Kong. Guests can buy tickets for the Kubik Experience (HK$3,499) and Floris Early Entry Experience (HK$2,799), as well as regular seated (HK$2,099, HK$1,699, HK$1,299) and standing (HK$1,399) tickets. The list of 39 hotels includes Rosewood, Mandarin Oriental, Dorsett Kai Tak, Regent, Conrad, Island Shangri-La, The Murray, and Grand Hyatt.
- Experience Package 2 (HK$2,580/US$332 onwards): This package will come with a one-or two-night stay at a three- or four-star hotel of your choice in Hong Kong. Guests can purchase only seated (HK$2,099, HK$1,699, HK$1,299, HK$999, HK$699) and standing (HK$1,399) tickets. The list of 27 hotels includes Regal, Harbour Plaza Resort City, Rosedale Hotel, Silka Far East, Ramada Hong Kong Grand View, Regal Oriental, Silk Tsuen Wan, and Nina Hotel Island South.
Guests can book four tickets at most and will get to stay in a standard hotel room. Those who book two-night stays should check into their rooms one day before concert day. As with tickets booked during the Artist Pre-Sale, you can’t choose your seats and you aren’t allowed to change the hotels or the check-in name once you’ve made your booking.
As of October 10, there are still packages available for one-night and two-night stays at four- and five-star hotels available for the April 9 and April 11 concerts.
How do I collect my Coldplay tickets?
Concert-goers who bought Coldplay tickets via Cityline during the Artist Pre-Sale on October 7 will receive an email from Cityline with a redemption code. Physical tickets will be available from 10am, March 12, 2025, which can be collected using a redemption password and the redemption code from any of the following Cityline ticket kiosks:
- AsiaWorld-Expo
- Hong Kong West Kowloon Station
- SF Express
- Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts
- Eternal East Bus
- Jockey Club Kitchee Centre
If you bought your tickets as part of the Klook Experience packages, you should receive an email from Klook regarding your seat numbers and redemption details three weeks before the concerts. You need to collect your tickets in-person from Cityline kiosks, and you will get information about the process from Klook by November 2024.

Who are the special guests for Coldplay’s concerts?
There will also be a ‘mystery guest’ who will play during the Hong Kong concerts whose identity has not yet been revealed. Artists who have opened for Coldplay on this tour so far include pop singer Camila Cabello, indie pop band London Grammar, and Japanese pop duo Yoasobi. There are rumours that Oscar-winning singer-songwriter H.E.R — who has opened for Coldplay at previous shows of this tour — will play at the Hong Kong shows based on information that was on the Coldplay Music of the Spheres app, which has since been removed.
How do I get to the Coldplay Hong Kong concert?
Head to the Sung Wong Toi MTR Station (Exit D) on the Tuen Ma Line and walk to the stadium via Sung Wong Toi Road. Alternatively, you can take Citybus route 608 and alight at The HK Society for the Blind on Mok Cheong Street and walk for 2 minutes to get to the venue.
Where else in Asia will Coldplay perform?
Before coming to Hong Kong, Coldplay will play in Abu Dhabi (January 11), Mumbai (January 18 & 19). Once they’re done in Hong Kong, they will head to Seoul (April 16, 18, 19 & 22). The band previously played in Taiwan, Indonesia, and Malaysia in 2023, as well as the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore in early 2024.
