Football star David Beckham surprised Hongkongers in Pacific Place in Admiralty when he showed up at the Adidas store in the mall on Tuesday afternoon.

The former captain of the England football team and Manchester United legend obliged the crowds of fans who gathered to see him by taking selfies and cheerfully interacting with them.

Beckham is a longtime ambassador of Adidas and regularly promotes the sportswear brand’s products and campaigns across the world. He was also recently in Macau, where he shot an advertisement with Hong Kong actress Angelababy for the casino resort, The Londoner Macao.
