Low-cost airline HK Express will give away 20,756 free economy round-trip tickets to residents of Mainland China to fly to 17 destinations across Asia via Hong Kong. The giveaway, which will run from January 17-19, will give travellers the chance to travel to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan by way of Hong Kong International Airport.
The distribution drive is part of the airline’s Fly and Shine Tickets Giveaway Campaign, and will cover the following destinations:
- Japan: Tokyo (Haneda), Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Takamatsu, Kagoshima, and Okinawa
- South Korea: Seoul, Busan, and Jeju
- Thailand: Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi), Phuket, and Chiang Mai
- Vietnam: Da Nang
- Taiwan: Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung
Participants must be at least 12 years old and be a resident of Mainland China. To win the tickets, they need to visit the airline’s campaign page at 10am on January 17, and select their travel destination and period. Once they successfully make their bookings, they will get an email from the airline with their PNR number. Travellers do not need to pay the airfare on their tickets, but will bear the costs of any applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges. The tickets can be used for travel dates between January 22-July 11, 2024.
Last week, HK Express ran a three-day giveaway for Hong Kong residents during which the carrier distributed 19,597 return tickets to 13 Asian destinations across its network in Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
