Ocean Park has opened its Halloween Fest 2026 season with The Grave Rave, and Jackson Wang joined the launch night as a special guest.
His involvement is more than an appearance: Under the Castle, the fantasy IP he founded and creatively directs, is one of this year’s experiences.
Around the park, the event combines haunted walkthroughs, roaming cast members, fluorescent night-time sets, game booths, DJs, music and themed food, turning the visit into a mix of horror and party atmosphere.
On opening night, what stood out first was how much of the park had been brought into the theme, rather than keeping Halloween inside the haunted attractions. There are plenty of cast members dressed as creepy characters at different points around the park, and the interactions happen while visitors move between rides and zones as well as inside the houses. Jump scares are frequent, and some performers stay in character long enough to make the encounters feel more immersive.
The lighting also changes the park considerably after dark. Large areas use fluorescent green decor, while red, blue and purple lighting appears around different zones. The result is very aesthetic at night, with a wider play of colours that gives each area its own look.
The three haunted houses included in the Triple Terror Combo — Voodoo Boo Terror Park, Troublesome Night 8 and Forbidden Asylum — are quite scary, with detailed sets and strong acting from the cast that gives each walkthrough much more substance. Voodoo Boo uses 3D effects and neon visuals, Troublesome Night 8 draws on the Hong Kong horror film series, and Forbidden Asylum adds bone-conduction audio.
The game booths also have Halloween plushes to win, including Voodoo Boo, while DJs, music and special treats add more of a party atmosphere across the park.
The main night-time haunted experiences run from 5pm to 11pm on 9–11, 16–19, 23–25 and 30–31 October, plus 1 November 2026. General admission is HK$538 for adults and HK$269 for children aged 3–11. The Triple Terror Combo costs HK$238 on non-peak dates and HK$280 on peak dates, while Under the Castle Plus+ VIP Access costs HK$280. The haunted-experience tickets are separate from park admission.
