One of Lamma Island’s best-known community events is back this November. Lamma Fun Day will take place at Tai Wan To Beach, better known as Powerstation Beach, with music running from 10am until 11pm.
The festival will feature almost 50 acts across the Beach, Restaurant 80, Star and Road stages, alongside food, drinks, auctions and an arts and crafts bazaar. The day also includes the annual Lamma8 charity trail race, with 8km and 14km routes around the island.
The programme includes a wide mix of local bands, DJs and community performers throughout the day. Acts scheduled to appear include The Red Stripes, The B-852s, Shrimple Plan, The Hong Kong Welsh Male Voice Choir, The Lamma Blues Collective, Night Raven, The VVs, DJ Nipper and many more local performers.

The first performances begin on the Road Stage at 10am, while the Beach Stage continues into the evening, with the final acts scheduled to finish at 11pm. Visitors can move between the four stages throughout the day, with performances overlapping across the site. The event also includes several charity auctions between sets.
Admission is free, so visitors do not need to buy a festival ticket in advance. The event takes place at Powerstation Beach on Lamma Island, which is located 15 to 20 minutes away from Yun Shuw Wan Ferry Pier.
Alongside the performances, visitors can expect food and drink stalls, the arts and crafts bazaar, auctions and family-friendly activities throughout the day. Readers can check the full artist line-up, stage times and any last-minute programme changes on the official Lamma Fun Day website.
