Marathon Sports has partnered with heritage tea and coffee brand Hiang Kie to release a limited-edition collection that turns Hong Kong cha chaan teng café culture into wearable designs. The “Hong Kong Vibes” drop blends sporty staples with familiar local details, from retro café patterns to the iconic orange takeaway cup look.

The collection centres on activewear pieces, including breathable T-shirts and performance tops, designed for everyday wear with a lighter, sport-led fit. Across the clothing, the visuals borrow from classic café interiors and counter culture: mosaic-style tiles, old-school shop graphics, and uniform-inspired trims that reference Hong Kong “water bar” staff.

Alongside the clothing, the collab also includes lifestyle accessories that carry the same theme. Shoppers will find crew socks, sports towels, and stainless steel tumblers (metal drink cups), many featuring variations of the orange takeaway cup design that is widely associated with milk tea and local cafés.

The release also comes with limited-edition collectables tied to spending levels, while stocks last. Customers who spend HK$1,000 can receive a retro mosaic-print canvas tote bag, packaged in a classic takeaway paper bag style. A second redemption tier is available at selected locations: customers who spend HK$3,000 at Times Square (Causeway Bay), New Town Plaza (Sha Tin), or MOSTown (Ma On Shan) can redeem a “Water Bar Master” uniform and a premium milk tea set, including cupware and Hiang Kie tea bags for home brewing.

Selected stores will also be dressed with retro café styling and classic Hong Kong golden hits during the campaign. Free Hiang Kie premium milk tea bags will be available at all Marathon Sports branches from 1–3 May, while stocks last.
