NBA basketball returns to Macau as the Houston Rockets take on the Dallas Mavericks in two preseason games. The matchups are scheduled for October 9 and 11, with tickets go on sale at noon on August 12.
The Mavericks currently feature nine-time NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving, 2025–26 NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg and 2026 No. 9 overall pick Morez Johnson Jr.
Houston’s roster includes two-time NBA champion and 16-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, two-time NBA All-Star Alperen Sengun and 2024–25 NBA All-Defensive First Team member Amen Thompson.
The games will give fans in the region a rare chance to watch some of the league’s leading players live in Macau this October.
The two-game series will take place at The Venetian Arena in Macau on Friday, October 9 at 7:30pm and Sunday, October 11 at 5:30pm. The event will also feature entertainment from artists across Asia, including half-time performances by Gen Z Kpop group KiiiKiii.
In addition, Keung To from Hong Kong boy band MIRROR and popular South Korean singer EVAN invite fans to NBA Fan Day on October 10. Featuring a star-studded lineup of celebrities and legends, NBA Fan Day brings interactive challenges to show the energy of the game.
Tickets go on sale on Cotai Ticketing at noon on August 12, with prices ranging from MOP/HKD 588 to MOP/HKD 24,888 for VVIP floor tickets.
