CCW Global Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s biggest card show is back this summer, and Pokémon fans may want to clear their calendar as Grade10 FEST Summer 2026 will return from 19 to 21 June at Hopewell Hotel in Wan Chai. This year’s edition will mark Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with rare vintage card exhibits, immersive displays, cosplay moments and a live collaboration with Taiwanese cheerleading squad Peach Girls.

Rare Pokémon Cards From 1996 To 2024

For collectors, the main attraction is clear. The event will showcase vintage Pokémon cards from 1996 to 2024, including some of the most coveted cards in the trading card world. The combined collection is said to be worth tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars. Ten extraordinary cards will be displayed around the venue.

The showcase will be presented by China’s leading card platform PokeColor and will take visitors through nearly 30 years of Pokémon TCG history. It is not just for serious collectors either. Anyone who grew up with Pokémon cards, Game Boys or the animated series will probably feel a little nostalgic walking through this one.

Highlights include the 1998 Pikachu Illustrator card, graded PSA 9, which is widely regarded as one of the world’s most valuable Pokémon cards. Also on display will be the 1996 March Playtest Pikachu, the 1996 first-edition Charizard signed by original illustrator Mitsuhiro Arita and the highly sought-after Umbreon Gold Star.

The exhibition will also feature rare tournament prize cards, including the 1998 Japanese Parent-Child Tournament prize card and the 1999 Secret Super Battle Champion card.

A Pokémon Time Travel Experience

The event is not only about looking at cards in display cases. This unique event will also include a specially curated immersive exhibition called A Journey Through Time.

The exhibition will recreate scenes from different Pokémon eras, starting with 1996 home settings and Game Boys, before moving through the animated series, card battle tables, the Pokémon GO boom of 2016 and the present day in 2026.

For long-time fans, this could be the part that hits hardest. It is designed to bring back childhood memories while showing how Pokémon has moved from playground trading to a global collecting culture.

Cosplay Fans Are Invited Too

For the first time, Grade10 FEST is also inviting fans to attend in cosplay. Visitors can dress as their favourite characters to take part in the immersive atmosphere. Two familiar characters from the Pokémon animated series, Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, will also make special appearances at the venue.

It gives the card show a more playful feel and makes the weekend more than just a marketplace for collectors.

Peach Girls Will Launch Exclusive Cards In Hong Kong

Another major highlight this year is Grade10’s collaboration with Taiwanese sports cheerleading squad Peach Girls. The squad represents the Taoyuan Leopards Flying Generals in Taiwan’s professional volleyball league, and Grade10 FEST Summer 2026 will host their Hong Kong debut card release.

Fans who draw a 1/1 Peach Girls card from the full card set will also get the chance to meet their favourite members. It is a fun crossover between card culture, live entertainment and fan collectibles.
