A winter programme titled Simple Gifts of Joy 2025, created in collaboration with the Hong Kong Jockey Club, is now running at Tai Kwun until 4 January 2026. The heritage site has been arranged as a seasonal setting with installations, performances and workshops spaced across its grounds.

The Parade Ground includes a 12-metre Christmas tree, an interactive playground, light installations and a set of festive structures designed for wandering, photo-taking and informal play. The space is arranged as a small winter scene where visitors can pause, move between the setups and explore the courtyard atmosphere.

Besides the installation, the festival introduces a broad range of activities across the compound, including contemporary circus performances, workshops, a juggling masterclass and family-friendly sessions that allow visitors to explore different parts of the site at their own pace. The programme spans acrobatics, storytelling, movement-based pieces and hands-on activities.

The festival runs across Tai Kwun from now until 4 January 2026, operating daily from 8am to 11pm with free admission, while the Circus Plays programme unfolds site-wide between 12 December and 1 January, with certain performances requiring tickets. For a full schedule, visit www.taikwun.hk.
